The 2026 NB3 Foundation Native Youth Golf Championship brought together talented junior golfers from Native communities across the country for two days of competition and unforgettable moments at Santa Ana Golf Club.
Now in its seventh year, the championship continues to make an impact beyond the final leaderboard. Former participants have gone on to play collegiate golf, earn college degrees and pursue careers in the golf industry. Others have continued their education through university golf management and related programs. While every participant’s path is different, we are proud the NB3 Foundation has had the opportunity to be part of their journey and support them as they pursue their goals.
This year’s championship was another reminder of the talent and bright futures of Native youth. Throughout the tournament, participants proudly represented their families and communities while challenging themselves on the course. At the conclusion of the event, eight champions earned qualifying spots to compete at the NB3 Junior Golf National Championship in Coushatta, Louisiana.

- Boys 14-15: Mason Piccolella (Pawnee Nation)
- Girls 16-18: Kezia Danner (Navajo Nation)
- Boys 16-18: Drake Kanuch (Chickasaw Nation)
This year’s championship was especially meaningful as Notah Begay III joined youth and families throughout the event. Participants had the opportunity to meet Notah, spend time with him and receive their awards from the founder of the NB3 Foundation. His presence made the celebration even more memorable following the announcement that he was named the 2026 recipient of the Payne Stewart Award presented by Southern Company.
