Community Organizing 101: Even You Can Make a Difference!

Using an interactive approach, the presenter identifies issues of concern to youth and ways to address it in a creative and cost-effective manner. Christina M. Castro
Christina M. Castro is an educator, activist, writer, artist and Zumba instructor. She lives in Santa Fe, NM where she is a co-founder of 3 Sisters Collective, a grassroots women-led alliance that seeks to re-center a Pueblo and feminine perspective via educational and artistic initiatives that empower community. She is also a PhD candidate at Arizona State University’s School of Social Transformation and Justice Studies, and is graduating in May 2018. Ms. Castro is from the Pueblos of Jemez and Taos.
