Abigail Warren serves as the Navajo Fruit and Vegetable Prescription (FVRx) Program Specialist at Community Outreach and Patient Empowerment (COPE). In this role, she coordinates partner clinic-community teams that implement the FVRx program across Navajo Nation. Abigail grew up and went to school in Oregon, where she studied community development and health. She has participated in a variety of arenas to expand geographic and economic access to healthy foods. Abby has led and convened diverse groups of stakeholders and partners to expand community garden development, decrease economic barriers to shopping at farmers markets, support small scale farmers, increase knowledge around healthy cooking on a budget, and advocate for progressive food systems policy.
