NB3F Participants To Attend Second Annual Ryder Cup Junior Academy

Shannelle Tafoya (Santo Domingo Pueblo) and Antonio Louis Larez (Navajo) of New Mexico, will participate in the 2012 Ryder Cup Junior Golf Academy on July 1-8, at the PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance in Port St. Lucie, Fla. A total of 84 juniors throughout the United States have been selected to participate.

NB3 & ITS Join Forces to Impact the Health of Native American Youth: Utilizing Soccer to Promote Health & Leadership Initiatives

Santa Ana Pueblo, NM-The Notah Begay III (NB3) Foundation announced today that it has entered into a formal partnership with Inter Tribal Sports (ITS) of Temecula, California. The organizations have joined forces to use the sport of soccer as a vehicle to combat the epidemics of childhood obesity and type 2 diabetes and promote leadership development among Native American youth. According to recent projections, 1 out of 2 Native American youth will develop type 2 diabetes.
